OUR STORY

Credly was founded to help people get recognition for their skills, to connect their verified abilities to opportunities, to bring happiness, equity, and access to every member of the current and future workforce. After helping lead the transformation in how people learn and connect online, our team turned its sights on bringing much-needed innovation to the outputs of meaningful learning experiences: the credential itself.

In 2018, Credly acquired Pearson's Acclaim, and together Credly and Acclaim are the most comprehensive global solution suite for recognizing skills, capabilities, and achievements, reaching everywhere learning takes place and skills are assessed.

Credly is leading the digital credential movement, making talent more visible and opportunity more accessible.

Digital credentials are fast becoming the currency of choice in an international marketplace of knowledge and skills. Credly and its community of users are building that currency and the underlying infrastructure. We believe that digital credentials will improve equity and expand access to opportunity, including for populations and individuals who have been traditionally underserved and overlooked. We’re working to positively impact everything from the student debt crisis to the skills gap between available jobs and qualified applicants. We build for scale.

We’re here for good.

Our Team

Credly is at the forefront of the digital credentialing movement, and we partner with leading technology companies, service providers, and industry organizations who are similarly focused on the value of verified skills and achievements in unleashing the potential of the workforce.
