Elite Credentialing Partners of 2024
ISC2
ISC2 is the largest non-profit membership association of certified cyber, information, software and infrastructure security professionals worldwide with nearly 675,000 members, associates and candidates in more than 175 countries.
In partnership with Credly, ISC2 translates certification status into digital badges. These badges, based on Open Badge standards, allow for easy management, sharing and verification of credentials.
Digital badges also allow individuals to keep their credentials current in an online world. Instead of making employers wait for member numbers or other verification processes, badge holders can provide a simple one-click confirmation of their certifications and skills.

Hear from Our Issuers
Casey Marks, Chief Qualifications Officer at ISC2, shared that ISC2 members appreciate the ease of sharing their badges and showcasing their accomplishments within their networks. The platform also helps protect both members and the public from credential fraud by ensuring that only valid certifications are recognized.
We love the Credly platform....We love the ability to be able to have a source of truth with regard to independent third party validation of our earned credentials, which takes a lift off of people having to go to our website and to be able to search for certain things they can...Learners like to be able to share their achievements with their networks and with their with their professional networks and their audiences.

So with Credly, we're obviously actively promoting who we are and what we do... but we also ensure that other organisations don't look or appear to be too similar to ISC2 and we can do that through the Credly platform and looking at it at other provided badges...It just helps strengthen the entire ecosystem by having verifiable information.

Our Journey Together
Credly Supports ISC2 in Strengthening the Global Cybersecurity Workforce
ISC2 became a Credly issuer with a full suite of credentials already having been issued to more than 100,000 members around the world through ISC2 certification process. ISC2 members are happy to have the digital badges from Credly as a way to share their verified accomplishments virtually.
The ISC2 community of certified members and associates has grown tremendously during the time with Credly. In 2022, ISC2 launched two of their top three statuses that receive a Credly badge. ISC2 experienced major growth and adoption of these new options – the ISC2 Candidate program and the Certified in Cybersecurity credential.
Credly has been an excellent partner of ISC2 and looks forward to continuing to grow to support the global cybersecurity workforce.
Looking Ahead
On the Path to One Million Certified in Cybersecurity Badges
In 2022, ISC2 launched our One Million Certified in Cybersecurity pledge, to offer free Certified in Cybersecurity training, as well as an exam attempt, to 1,000,000 people around the world. We are approaching that milestone and now have more than 65,000 members holding the Certified in Cybersecurity badge. Our focus continues to be on building this program and continuing to provide development opportunities to our entry-level certification holders. The cybersecurity workforce gap continues to grow, and the workforce needs to attract new talent to keep up with the persistent evolution of threats.
